Creating Anger Free Schools is the new initiative of CBSE, a conscious effort to make schools a calmer, happier and healthier learning zone.
Mrs. Meenu Chopra, a renowned life coach and psycho therapist took a two hour workshop on Anger Management titled ‘Riding the Wild Horse’ for all teachers. She explained that anger is a natural emotion, not necessarily detrimental, if we learn to manage it wisely. She asked the teachers to delve deeper to identify what causes anger and helped them understand the reason behind it. She suggested many useful tips and small therapies that helps in alignment of thought, body and emotions. Teachers found the techniques quite de stressing and relevant to their job.
She guided teachers to be guide and a healer. Rather than being upset at a undesired behavior exhibited by students, a teacher must dig deeper to find what prompted it and help the child resolve his/ her problems. She ended with a interesting Tea Therapy arousing all five senses.
